Abstract

The resource you described on seasonal streamflow forecasting in snow-dominated regions, specifically integrating snow water equivalent (SWE), January baseflow, and soil moisture as predictors into multiple linear regression (MLR) models, serves as a practical example of how to obtain the input data for such frameworks. This approach demonstrates that combining these multiple hydrologic storage indicators yields more accurate and stable forecasts, especially in headwater basins of the Upper Colorado River Basin and Great Salt Lake Basin.
