Data Source 1. The data were collected from the Primary Census Abstract, 2011 of the Government of India (Census, 2011). 2. Homeless people sleeping on streets were taken from Sabuj Sangha (2014). 3. Arsenic concentrations in untreated groundwater used for drinking and cancer risk index were taken from Chakraborti et al. (2017). 4. Tuberculosis (TB) burden was adapted from Dey et al. (2019). 5. We have computed ward wise percentages of population below poverty level and slums from Basu (2015) and Das Gupta, (2009). 6. Publicly accessible containment zones and/or isolation units were collected from: West Bengal State Government, 2020; Mehta, 2020; Deccan Herald, 2020; The Bengal Story, 2020; Javed, 2020 and Shaurya, 2020.
