Abstract
This HydroShare resource contains the dataset supporting the study “Boundary-Aware Graph Neural Networks for Compound Flood Forecasting.” The data were generated from HEC-RAS simulations of compound flooding in Portsmouth, Virginia, under rainfall and coastal water-level forcing. The resource includes processed inputs and hydraulic outputs used to train, validate, and evaluate the GNN4CF framework, including graph-based hydraulic information, forcing variables, and simulated flood-response data. The dataset supports the model comparisons, ablation studies, forecast-stability assessment, and generalization experiments presented in the manuscript. The resource is provided to support reproducibility and future research on machine-learning surrogates for compound coastal flooding.
