Abstract

This dataset contains time-lapse imagery of the Athabasca glacier, in the Canadian Rockies, for the 2015-2020 melt season (Jul. 1st-Sep 15). The time-lapse camera recorded pictures at 8:00, 13:00 and 16:00 local time. The meteorological observations from the on-ice weather station (52.19182, -117.25165) for the 2015-2020 period, as well as precipitation, corrected for undercatch, from the off-ice station (52.215362, -117.226359), are also shared.
