Abstract

This dataset includes all data collected from the experimental phase and obtained with the modelling framework of Le Sorelle-B saltmarsh located in the Venice Lagoon (Italy). Available data are time series of NEC (Nourishment Elevation Change) stations monitoring from October 2021 to May 2024, UAV-based photogrammetry in the same period, and NATSUB3D outputs.

Description of Dataset Formats and Variables

The dataset is organized into the following folders:

1. NATSUB3D-output

This folder contains the output of the calibrated NATSUB3D simulation in VTK format at selected time steps.

2. NATSUB3D-input

This folder includes the input files required to run the NATSUB3D model.

3. NEC_monitoring

This folder contains datasets collected from monitoring activities at the NEC stations:

NEC.txt
Time series data of NEC measurements. Rows correspond to time steps, and columns correspond to NEC stations (1 to 10).
NEC_dates.txt
Timestamp reference corresponding to the rows in NEC.txt.
DTM_at_NEC.txt
Time series of surface elevation values at NEC station locations. Rows correspond to time steps, and columns correspond to NEC stations (1 to 10).
DTM_dates.txt
Timestamp reference corresponding to the rows in DTM_at_NEC.txt.
4. UAV-survey

This folder contains the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) derived from UAV-based surveys. The point cloud data have been resampled onto a regular grid with a spatial resolution of 25 cm.
