Abstract
This dataset is supported by a USGS 104(b) grant assessing the nutrient stores of Lake Conway Reservoir in central Arkansas. This data includes seasonal nutrient concentrations from sediment samples, and resulting concentrations from two different in-lab experiments during the Lake Conway restoration period. Samples were collected from six sites across Lake Conway from December 2024-July 2025 for nitrate (NO3-N), and soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP). The effect of wide-scale drawdown on nutrient release in reservoirs of the US southeast region have been understudied, making this data important to informing future management of nutrient stores in reservoirs undergoing drawdown restoration.
