This resource contains Ra isotope data from Sage Lot Pond, part of the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, from the years 2018 - 2019. Data includes marsh porewater and brackish groundwater Ra-224 and dissolved inorganic carbon concentrations, and sediment-bound Ra-224 and Th-228 specific activities. These data have been used to quantify marsh porewater exchange and dissolved inorganic carbon export.

Name Value
Metadata Tables 1 & 2 Table 1. Summary of marsh porewater and brackish groundwaters collected between 2018 and 2019. Sample ID: month - marsh site (1 or 2)/station (A, B or C)_depth. For example, 12-1A_10 is December marsh site 1, station A (creek), 10 cm depth. Na = not analyzed. Field sampling and analytical methods in Tamborski et al. (2021). Table 2. Summary of sediment bulk density, 224Ra and 228Th activities collected between 2018 and 2019. Sample ID: month - marsh site (1 or 2)/station (A, B or C)_depth range. For example, 12-1A_0-1 is December marsh site 1, station A (creek), 0 – 1 cm depth. Field sampling and analytical methods in Tamborski et al. (2021).
